More to the side of addiction but still tackles the effects of video games.
About 10 minutes into part one there is a boy like many people who plays Word Of Warcraft, he plays it for hours on end which ends up affecting his life so his mother intervened by disconnecting the internet which causes the boy to lash out, Now by saying the game was to blame is understandable and yes the game is to blame because if he didn't play it then he wouldn't act like that when the game is taken away from but maybe if his mother had more interest in what he was doing with his time she could of done something sooner and maybe he would of realised what was happening to him.
If the boy was able to deal with not playing the game all the time and realise he had a problem he wouldn't of lashed out.
So really the boy and his mother are to blame besides to back my argument the game isn't violent well it is but only as violent as tom and jerry I mean its not like the kid started casting fire balls at his mother if he did then yes you can blame the game.
